TEG-1000 Tungsten Electrode Grinder
Tungsten electrode grinders are convenient, safe and more accurate than other methods of grinding. The newly redesigned TEG-1000 Grinder provides repeatable tungsten electrode points every time. This leads to consistent and repeatable arc performance and welding results.
Sizes: 1.0 mm to 3.2 mm
Accurate electrode grinding will lead to cost savings due to the increased life of properly ground tungsten electrodes and eliminating the need to purchase of preround electrodes.
A special collet accessory allows for shorter electrodes to be held, allowing a complete stick of electrode material to be used. The TEG-1000 provides accurate ground electrodes for hand and Automated welding, time after time, to the same size and shape.
Ground and polished tungsten electrodes produce identical, repeatable results for automated welding every time. With Manual welding, the shape of the tungsten electrode is just as important - a correctly shaped tip allows the arc to be precisely positioned with none of the preferential arcing experienced when using poorly shaped manually ground tips. For in-field grinding check out the VAG-4 120VAC and battery powered portable grinders, offering the same repeatability, and ease of use.

The PurgEye® 200 will operate with batteries or through main power. Charging can be done from a dock (optional) and battery life is much longer than the initial version. The unit has programmable audio alarm levels for rising or falling oxygen.
The handheld PurgEye 200 will feature PurgeNetTM. This allows the addition of standard accessories with Weld Purge Monitor® linked to automatic welding machines such as orbital welders and other devices.
The PurgEye® 300 Nano will be a slightly smaller instrument. The PurgEye® 300 becomes the PurgEye® Nano Plus. Software records purge values and controls external devices (warning lights and alarms), weld sets according to preset high and low oxygen levels.
The PurgEye® Site is a completely new addition to the range. It will be delivered in a new and robust sealed case, which is virtually non-destructible and great for on-site conditions. The unit is powered either by rechargeable battery or mains - batteries can provide up to 10 hours of weld purge monitoring.
The PurgEye® 500 will be renamed the PurgEye® Desk, suitable for indoor applications. This new instrument comes in a smaller case and it will also come with PurgeNetTM.
The PurgEye® 1000 Remote Weld Purge Monitor® will have all the new features with an important development: the size of the remote sensing head. This is now manufactured from brushed stainless steel and is considerably smaller so that it can be used in pipe diameters as small as 1 inch, possibly in conjunction with the 1" PurgElite®, the smallest tandem weld purging system in the world.
